Takson Group
("TAKSON")
is a company proud of its history with an eye towards the future. From its founding
in 1977, Takson Wong took his garment manufacturing business from a handful of employees
to being public listed in the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 1997.
TAKSON first specialized in manufacturing down-filled
jackets and functional outerwear, sourced in China and sold in leading retailers
across Hong Kong and Macau. As the customer base grew, TAKSON began exporting to
the United States and Europe, and soon partnered with leading names in high fashion
such as Polo, H&M, DKNY and Hugo Boss.
From the start, TAKSON strived to become Hong Kong's
leading outerwear supplier. Today, TAKSON aims to build upon that tradition, providing
a complete and direct service for apparel manufacturing. We specialize in OEM, ODM
and OBM from design to branding, manufacturing to marketing. TAKSON will continue
leading with its industry experience, an intimate-working relationship with each
of our customers, and most important of all, uncompromising standards in quality.
Besides the apparel export business, TAKSON had also gained substantial experience in distributing branded sportswear in the PRC. In particular, TAKSON was appointed the exclusive licensee of "DIADORA" for PRC, Hong Kong and Macau in January 2005. Through effective marketing and promotional efforts of TAKSON, "DIADORA" became widely recognised in China and accepted by consumers at large. In three years' time, TAKSON established more than three hundred "DIADORA" speciality stores in major provinces and cities in the PRC. As a strategic move, TAKSON had sold the licensee business to an independent third party at a premium in April 2008.
